You were hauling ass last night on Route 287N in a red '98 or '99 Ford Taurus. That means you've got a V6. You also had PA plates, and you were driving like an asshole. I wont end up like this.

You wouldn't leave me alone. What gives? You spotted the V12 badge on my car? You spotted an SL badge? It was late, I was tired. I had just left a concert, and wanted to get home safely, but here you were with your buddy in that Black '07 or '08 Impala. You should feel lucky I had the GPS plugged in instead of the dashcam, or I'd be posting your picture and plate.

I have summer tires on the car, it was cold, wet, and there were wet leaves everywhere. I don't need to satisfy your dickish curiosity about what my car is capable of. I got off the highway where I knew you wouldn't be able to follow me, because for damn near 20 miles, you wouldn't back the fuck off.

There was a lot of traffic for nearly 1am, and I still had at least another hour of driving to do before getting home. I don't know about anyone else on the road, but I'm sure they also just wanted to get where they were going safely.

So for that? I say fuck you. Fuck you and your stupid V6 Taurus. Fuck your friend in his Impala. Don't box me in on the highway, don't prevent me from safely changing lanes or taking my exit. Fuck you for endangering people last night because you're a fucking child. I don't wish to risk anyone, especially when the conditions are outright dangerous. Dark, cold, wet and worst of all, the prime of deer season.

You want to run me? You want to see how fast my car is? Lets go to a track. You pick. Pocono Raceway? NJMP? Watkins Glen? Englishtown? It doesn't matter to me. I'll run your shitty V6 Taurus all day long. And when you lose? You can pay for the oil change, air filters, and intake parts I need. Why? So you can get a taste of why I don't run assholes like you on public roads. You can also put new tires on my car. Just so you can find out what it's like to own a car like mine.

You want to see what the power can do? You can pay the price associated. I don't need to prove a damn thing to you.

The one thing this video does get wrong is that the car does drop back down. At least mine does. Looks really funny adding almost an inch and a half of ride height. Maybe I'll make a video sometime after I take care of the other bits that are much more important on that car.

I couldn't let the car go. I just like it too much. Took it to the beach last night and was reminded once again why I love it so much.

The other thing that video doesn't mention is that he only raised the front of the car. The front and rear both lift.

I guess so. I mean, I was moving on the highway, but I most certainly wasn't doing anything like the prick in the taurus. I would pick what lane I went in based on traffic way ahead of me, with the sole exception being one 18 wheeler that kept drifting into the left lane a little. I blew past him on the right because I felt a lot safer over there.

Get the badges from Autozone, they look almost identical.

I don't think I've ever been in Toms River, though I have some good friends who live/work there. I'm from Morris County, but my preferred vacation spot is actually Wildwood. Much more tame and quiet than other places, considering I'm not really there for the boardwalk or the beach, I'm just there to not be at work.

In the summer it's not so great due to it being the gateway to Seaside Heights. Every now and then the Benny's overflow into Toms River but not often. It's close to Island Beach state park which is great for fishing so I suck it up and just drink more.

To be honest though, I don't see why auto manufacturers need to have a second port for a non-existent second tailpipe. Look at my former Outback H6 - the four cylinders have two pipes but no holes for tailpipes.

The American Way is weird.

Well, arguably (for budget reasons), they wouldn't want to have to spend the change on tooling for two parts that were nearly identical, when they can just use the same part across several different models. Saves money for them.

I'd like to see the day those costs savings get passed down, but that's a totally different story.
